| Content: | Algebra 2 is a continuation of the study of functions. Students begin with a review of linear functions. From there they move to solving systems of linear equations and inequalities. Students are introduced to exponential, logarithmic, and quadratic functions. A strong empahasis is placed on modeling situations using graphs as well as equations. Solutions to quadratic equations, radicals, and complex numbers are part of the course. An introduction to trigonometric functions is also discussed. |
