First, parents must fill out the application form as is listed on the front of the packet. All documents are put in a folder for the current lottery. Important dates such as Tech-X-sperience, 8th Grade Information Night, Deadline dates for applications to be received for the lottery, and lottery drawing date are noted on the front of the application packet. All names from applications received by the due date with or without teacher recommendations and test scores are put into the lottery drawing. The lottery drawing is done at the Joint Meridian School District Office. The list is posted near the front entrance of the school and all names for which MTCHS received parent permission are posted on our website by the end of the drawing day. Applications received after this date are added to the waiting list formed on the day of the lottery in the order they are received.

MTCHS is a free, public charter school that takes a new approach to learning. It follows the Meridian School District's calendar. Transportation from other schools using the standard bus system is provided. Active parent participation is encouraged. The curriculum focuses around technology and its applications in the modern world. Extra-curricular activities such as athletics are available at your student's home high school. MTCHS is a Northwest and Idaho accredited high school (9-12) and overall enrollment is limited to 199 students.
