Mr. Yadon has been a classroom teacher or school administrator for the last twenty-five years. His experience in private, traditional public and charter schools offers a rich perspective for leadership. He is passionate about engaged student learning and empowering teachers to be their best. Mr. Beebe is the networking and computer repair teacher at MTCHS. He loves to work with computer gadgets and help students to develop their interests in networking. He is one of the major grant writers at the school and is always looking for new funding projects that will benefit students. Currently, he is looking for a grant for adding a new repair/classroom to the school, and fitness technology gadgets for the school.
SkillsUSA has benefitted from Mr. Beebe’s assistance as an advisor. He works with competitors for the information technology service, technical computer applications, and job skill demo.
Mr. Beebe loves teaching at MTCHS, it is his dream job and he believes that the students at MTCHS are the best around, and he loves coming to school each day to teach and learn.

Mr. Bodell has been an instructor with the Meridian Charter School since opening in 1999 and has been part of the Meridian School District for 25 years as a teacher. He earned his BS in Science Education from the University of Idaho and his Masters in Educational Technology from Boise State University.
His hobbies include 80’s music, SciFi Movies and technology.

Ms. Deitchler earned a Bachelor of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences with an Emphasis in Secondary Education at the University of Wyoming. She has a Master of Education in Occupational Training Management from Idaho State University. 28 years of experience includes 12 years teaching employability skills & coordinating the internship program at MTCHS, 7 years at the college level as a career placement and recruitment director and a traditional 9 years teaching at Butte County High School in Arco. Certifications include Secondary Family/Consumer Sciences, Consumer Economics, School Principal K-12, Professional Technical Administrator, and Work Based Learning Coordinator.

Mr. Taylor graduated from ORU in Tulsa Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Communications with an Emphasis in Multimedia Production. He has since worked in the non-profit industry for a decade doing commercial, television, web design/development, motion design, advertising, and training. He regularly uses his free time doing freelance work editing, video production, motion graphics, and web design. Hobbies include app development, writing screenplays, and 3d animation.

Hi I‘m Mary Helen Green,the counselor.I received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting from Bellarmine College. I obtained my Master of Arts degree in community counseling in 1995 at Eastern Kentucky University. I received my school counselor certification for the State of Idaho via Northwest Nazerene University in 1996. I have worked as a school counselor since the fall of 1995. I started working at MTCHS in the fall of 1999 when we first opened. I have a daughter named Sierra and my husband’s name is Bart Green. I like the outdoors and enjoy activities such as biking, hiking, reading, running, and visiting with friends. My hours at school are 7:30 to 3:30.

Mrs. Merrell received a BA in Secondary Education-History with a Political Science minor from Boise State University. She has a MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho.
Mrs. Merrell spent four years teaching at Kuna High School and is in her fifth year teaching at MTCHS.
Mrs. Merrell also teaches motorcycle training classes for the Idaho STAR program.

Eric received a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics and a M.Ed. in Deaf Education from Utah State University. He spends a lot of time with his wife and two children taking advantage of all that Boise has to offer. He enjoys gardening, reading, playing Irish music and going for long runs in the foothills.

I am Andrew Pence, Sr. Pence to my students, and I have the privilege of working with your son or daughter in Spanish 1/2, or Spanish 3/4, As a teacher, I share your concern for your children. Having learned Spanish myself, I remember what it was like to learn the language. Through my experiences abroad as well as in the University, I have discovered some materials and teaching techniques for language learning that I consider especially useful in the Spanish classroom that I hope to implement. Mrs. Ray is the Accountant for MTCHS. She graduated from Boise State with a Bachelor of Arts in 1994 and a Bachelor of Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting, in 1996. She has been working for the School District since 2007. She is also the Accountant for Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School. Mrs. Ray enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and her part-time business where she helps women across the country to stay safe.

Ms. Richtsmeier attended University of North Dakota where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in math and minors in business education and statistics. She completed her M.ED. in Professional Technical and Technology Education from the University of Idaho and Professional Technical Administrative Certificate in December 2008 and her K-12 Administrative Credential in September 2014. . She has received her i-Net + and Dreamweaver certification along with specialized training in computer science and databases through Oracle. Before coming to MTCHS, she worked on the MTCHS design team and taught at Lowell Scott Middle School for three and a half years. She grew up on a farm in North Dakota with her four brothers. She also enjoys her thirteen nieces and nephews. Her hobbies include playing with her dog, reading, yoga, traveling, and playing the piano. Ms. Richtsmeier is also a SkillsUSA advisor.

Ms. Riley received her BA in English Education from Northwest Nazarene University and her MS in Educational Technology with an emphasis in online curriculum design from Boise State University. Ms. Riley has taught English and Technology courses for 20 years within Idaho schools. She enjoys combining face-to-face teaching with new technologies to form a blended learning environment. She also enjoys seeing how students become inspired by technology and use it to create new ideas, techniques, and creations. Her personal activities include reading novels of all kinds, writing fictional pieces, and creating chainmaille jewelry, as well as other crafts and design.

Mrs. Shannon received a BA in Elementary Education from Boise State University and enjoyed teaching at the elementary level for several years before returning to Northwest Nazarene University to earn her Master’s in Exceptional Child. She just completed her Education Specialist Degree, also at Northwest Nazarene University. Mrs. Shannon has been on the staff at MTCHS for the past seven years.
Mrs. Shannon has four children, three of whom graduated from MTCHS. In her spare time, Mrs. Shannon enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and taking numerous walks with her very energetic dog, Atlas.

Mrs. Torek is originally from Utah. She joined the US Air Force a year out of high school and was stationed at bases in Germany, England, and Oklahoma where she worked on various types of aircraft. She pursued her BS in Electrical Engineering through the University of Oklahoma and was hired by Micron as an equipment engineer upon graduation where she spent four years working in their Research and Development fabrication facility. She teaches all levels of electronics, robotics, and microcontrollers as well as freshmen technology. She enjoys raising her two boys, reading, and cooking with her husband.

Mr. von der Ehe is originally from Springfield, Oregon. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in English and a Master’s in Teaching and Learning. While in Oregon, Mr. von der Ehe was an athletic director and taught reading/writing. His passions include everything to do with the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Mr. von der Ehe is married to Jenna, and they have four children- Lacyn, Finley, John and Luke.
