๐ผ๐ Senior Class Projects Are Underway! ๐๐ผ
Our Seniors officially launched their Class Projects as soon as they returned to school last week, diving into an exciting entrepreneurial-focused Senior Project that challenges them to turn their technical skills into real, viable business ventures.
Working in teams, students are brainstorming and developing innovative business ideasโcreating everything from a business name and branding to defining a core product, solution, or service. Each team is also building a functional website or app to showcase their concept and bring it to life.
Beyond the technical work, this project emphasizes essential professional and career-ready skills. Seniors are collaborating within teams, practicing public speaking and interviewing, and strengthening their research and development abilities. This morning, each team even delivered a quick elevator pitch to our principal, giving them a first chance to practice presenting their ideas and receiving feedback in a supportive environment.
The project will culminate in a formal business pitch to a panel of community business leaders, giving students an authentic, real-world experience and valuable professional feedback. We are deeply grateful to our community partners and judges for sharing their time, expertise, and insightsโhelping students connect classroom learning to the realities of the business world.
Itโs inspiring to watch our Seniors apply everything theyโve learned at MTCHS as they take this final step toward college, careers, and entrepreneurship. More updates to come as projects continue! ๐๐

As part of their Class Projects, the Freshmen had a fun debate in Ms. Weise`s class today, based on the statement, "Technology has made us lazier." Students chose a side: "I agree," or "I disagree." There were some interesting arguments for both stances, and lively, respectful debates ensued. These freshmen are deep thinkers, and prepared to defend their position! Are you surprised to learn that the majority of our students, who are very involved in technology in almost every aspect of their lives, agreed with the statement?
