MTCHS Parents,
Thank you to all who have activated AmazonSmile, benefitting MTCHS, on your Amazon account! We just received $124.91 from AmazonSmile for program activity between July 1 and September 30!
With holiday shopping looming, we ask that you remember to support us when you make your Amazon purchases! Moneys raised help support the Student Technical Organizations at MTCHS, which include SkillsUSA, VEX Robotics, and Business Professionals of America. Simply go to our website, http://clone.smtchs.org, and click on the Amazon button in the top right corner, then you will be directed to smile.amazon.com.
After entering your Amazon email and password, you should see a message under the search bar saying you are supporting Meridian Technical Charter High School. If you do not, then you can simply search for Meridian Technical Charter High School in the search bar for Amazon Smile Charities.
You can also support our school through the Amazon app on Android devices (currently not Apple), but we do get a larger percentage of your purchase when you use the link on our website. To use the app, download the Amazon shopping app on your Android device. Then, tap on the main menu in the top left corner, tap settings, and tap AmazonSmile. Lastly, follow the instructions to turn on AmazonSmile and be sure to select Meridian Technical Charter High School as your charitable organization to support.
In addition, if you use Amazon for business purchases, then you can also select MTCHS as your charity to donate a percentage of your purchases.
Now, when you make a purchase from Amazon a portion of your payment will come to the school. This all happens at no extra cost to you, but it is a big help for all the Student Technical Organizations. We use this money to fund competitions, leadership training, and networking opportunities.
